Single-phase A.C. systems: equivalent circuits, voltages, currents, power, reactive power compensation, connection transformations. Multi-phase systems: two-phase systems, three-phace systems, symmetrical and asymmetrical loads. Power system components. Transmission line parameters: resistance, inductance, capacitance. Transmission line equations, equivalent circuits, compensation, power, losses, circular diagrams and mechanical characteristics. Conductor selection for power systems. Per-unit system. Load flow analysis. Three-phase systems voltage, current and power measurements.
